Prompt: Write a senryu (17-syllable poem about the human condition)
Senryu X 3
After the breakup
you realize the truth–
you chose this misery
Hope is a bucket
with a hole in the bottom
I carry around
Trust is a bone
I hold onto like a dog
baring all of its teeth
